- Half timber construction
It is a way of construction, whose basic elements are so-called "Ständer" (Piles), which are set up on cross ties and form together with the wood frame a static stabile system. The inside is filled with basketwork, shelves and clay. They only have a room-separating function. Since for all devices traditional plugs are needed, half timber construction is very costly.
- Facade
The ways of arranging the facade for wood houses are almost unrestricted. Current and modern plaster systems are used as stone facades or wood facades.
- Windows
They have the lowest level of insulation of the outside components (transmission warmth loss), but you can also gain energy from the sun. Especially with the change of the K-value To the U-value the energy consumption of a building is effected. As in 1995 the U-value of 1,1W/ (m²k) was in calculation for a glass front, today, the considerably weaker window frame is included in the calculation; and for the same window you have lower results (U=1, 5-2,5W/(m²k). In comparison: a modern house wall has an U-value of about 0,2W/(m²k).
- Fire resistance class F30-B
It means that inflammable (B) walls, ceilings and roofs (F) can resist to defined fire at least 30 minutes (30). They keep their capability of structure and prevent the fire to penetrate to the neighbor room.
